Here is my most recent demo reel, made in March 2012.

Hipster

Here are a couple of models I've been working on lately; the hipster and his bike. The bike is obviously not textured out, and I will be adding items to the crate soon. The hipster is almost complete, I'm still struggling with trying to get the hair to look alright. The pose in this scene is going to be changed soon, just thought I'd take a render of where it's at right now.

Retrieval and Repair of an Undersea Cable: CS Mackay-Bennett

I recently finished a 2 minute animation to be played at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic for the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. We storyboarded, modeled, textured, lit, rendered and composited a demonstration of how a Cable Ship worked in laying and fixing communication cables in the Atlantic Ocean. The ship that a group of 3 other artists and I worked on, the MacKay-Bennett, was the first ship to be requisitioned to respond to the Titanic disaster. The exhibit premieres April 12 2012 and will run until October of 2012.

The Girl - City and Colour: Lyric Video

A lyric video I made for "The Girl" by City and Colour a while ago. I took a chunk out of the song to make it a little shorter, and edited the video quite a bit (original is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVHk4dc7yaE), as well as adding the lyrics, of course.Thought I'd post this now since I didn't have this blog when I first made the video.
